I do consider it selling, because I still have a product, and I still have to talk to people about it, and convince people to try it. But I must say, it's much easier to convince people to try a product that is free, and will save them money at the same time.

My product is a free membership to the DHS ClubShop Mall. The mall has 100's of brand name stores in it, and everytime a ClubShop member shops in one of those stores, they automatically recieve rewards, which translate into cashback at the end of the month. Personally, I don't know where there is a better deal.

I use my DHS membership to purchase everything I need from dishsoap, to shampoo, to diapers, and I always get my rewards back and save money on everything.

I do have to do a little shopping around, just like I would if I was shopping offline. I still check for sales and stores with free shipping for extra killer deals. I just recently signed up for Weight Watchers Online and recieved a minimum of $5.00 back.

The membership is free. Totally free. It uses the buying power of thousands of people that shop online to provide discounts to ClubShop members. It is the best product ever to be selling.

How to Make Extra Money While Promoting Your Primary MLM

Promoting you business is one of the main components of being successful. If you are promoting on the web, why not make some extra cash while you are at it?

The first step is to create your own website about your business. Even if you are participating in one of the hundreds of geometric progression type businesses that are on the web these days, your own website will still come in handy. Many online opportunities give you a free website to use for marketing, but too often these sites are just replicated sites that are not liked very well by search engines. In the end, your free business website may come in handy, but not for attracting customers.

To create a site that attracts people, just make sure it has some kind of useful information on it. Two common types of sites would be a blog or a content site like mine (www.ReesieRocks.com). Make sure that your blog or content site has information on it that people can use. For example, if you sell a weight loss product, make a site about nurition. Or if you sell vacuum cleaners, make a site about the best house cleaning methods out there today.

Once you have a site created, you'll need to make sure that it has meta tags, or keywords in the HTML. This makes it so that search engines can find your site. This is very important in attracting potential prospects to your site.

Video marketing and article marketing are two of the best ways to market your site permanently and for free. Make useful videos about your site and post them to video directories such as YouTube or MetaCafe. Make sure your videos refer back to your website so that you will get free, targeted traffic from them.

Article marketing works the same way, except your write articles and submit them to article directories. Most article directories have a resource box that you can add a link to your website for referral purposes. Also, when other people are looking for content for THEIR website and choose to use your article, they must keep the resource box in tact, effectively advertising your website for free.

The best thing about article marketing and video marketing is that they are simple, free, and they last forever. Once you have posted an article or video, it stays on the web, attracting quality traffic to you forever.

Now that you have the site, and are working on getting some traffic, it's time to monetize your site. The most simple way to do this is to sign up for a free account with Google AdSense. This puts pay-per-click advertisments on your site related to whatever the content on your site is. You make a revenue every time someone clicks on one of those ads.

Another way to monetize your site is to become affiliates with companies that have products related to yours. So, for example, if you are selling a business opportunity in your blog, you might recommend a book about network marketing and make an affiliate comission from it if someone buys it by clicking on it from your website.

This is just another way to generate income on the web, while still operating your main business.

Why Use Video Marketing?

Okay, so to be fair, this video is really cheesy, but it still got ten hits on it's first day, just by posting it to YouTube. It gets more even more hits by posting it to other video friendly sites, such as MetaCafe, MySpace, and Facebook. Video is great marketing content because it's easy to get traffic to it, and you can use the video to refer back to your website, thus getting traffic to your website as well. You also don't have to worry about posting duplicate content. It's okay to post duplicate videos.

How to Make Videos:

Let's talk about some ways to make videos.

First is a storyboard type video like above. I use MicroSoft PhotoStory 3, which is a free program (as long as you have Windows) that allowed me to line up a bunch of clip art, add text, a few special effects, and sound. It will also let me add voice, but I didn't have a mic at the time I was making the video. This took me about an hour.

Another type of video is to film yourself or someone you know talking about your product or business opportunity. Show your product in action, or the results of your product, and you will have an instant consumer base. All you need is a digital camcorder, or even just a webcam.

A third type of video is an instructional video where you are teaching a special type of skill that people will want to know, such as how to make great internet videos. Again, this can be with your face as the main character, or you can do it PowerPoint style. Either way, if people want to know what you have to teach, your video will get traffic.

Why use video marketing?

Statistics show that people LOVE videos. They will watch videos about anything and everything. Seriously, go to YouTube and type in something absurd like "super gorillaz" and you will probably get something for it. People love content with videos. So by adding your videos to video sites like YouTube and MetaCafe, you are getting instant traffic.

Also by adding video content to your Facebooks, Myspace, Squidoo, Hubpages, and any other site you use for marketing, you are making it more interesting, and more sticky, and more likely that someone will read your stuff. For this, you don't even need to add your own videos.

Video content makes things more personal to your traffic. They get to know you a little better, and that's always good when you are trying to sell something.

Video content is favored by search engines. Your site is more likely to end up on top if it has video content.

For more training, visit ReesieRocks.Com

Banner Advertising

For most businesses, banner advertising is an advertising expense. You find a website that will host your banner, and you pay the owners for placing it there. Then you hope that the banner gets you more in sales than you paid for advertising.

DHS takes away any banner advertising cost and makes the banner financially productive both for you and for the website hosting your banner. First, you simply set up a prospective website for a free affiliate account with DHS. They simply put the banner on their website and then make commissions on all sales made through the banner. A buyer that uses the banner to make a purchase must sign up for a free DHS shopper membership, which is attached to the affiliate id of the banner. This way, the affiliate website owner will make a commission on subsequent purchases of the buyer as well, even if it's not made through the banner the second time (or third time, or hundredth time).

Because the affiliate website is signed up in your down line, you also get the benefit of the banner, so everyone wins. You are getting free advertising, the banner host is making money, and the buyer that uses the banner is still getting a shopper discount with their membership.

How to be successful at banner marketing with DHS:

DHS has strict spam rules (which is good, because it gives DHS a good name). This means we have restrictions as to which websites can be contacted directly about the banner opportunity. Prospective websites must already have affiliate advertising on them, which indicates that the person wants to make money using advertising. Furthermore, the advertising can't have anything to do with the topic of the website. For example, if the website is about shoes, and the advertisements are also about shoes, this would not be a good candidate. However, if the site was about shoes, and there was an advertisement for computers, this would be an ideal candidate.

The best source of ideal candidates is blogs. Many bloggers blog for money, and many of them use affiliate advertising to generate extra income. The best blogs to search through are in the marketing, business, and home business niches, as these blogs are all about making money. It's worth it to browse through other blog topics too, but there will be less candidates.

Once you find an ideal candidate, you e-mail them with a pre-designed letter by DHS, explaining the benefits of the affiliate program. They can either decline or sign up. It's that simple.

Click here to sign up as a host for a banner
Click here to sign up for DHS

Back to School

It's getting toward the end of August, and for many, this means buying our kids new clothes, new shoes, paper, binder, calculators, pens and pencils, and other school supplies. Statistics show that 97% of people in network marketing drop out after a few months. If all of your business is your front line and 97% of them drop out, you won't have much left. But, if 97% of them drop out and the 3% that are left have 3% of their front line left, and that front line keeps building under you, you will still make a residual income. Deeper is better.

Statistics also show that most network marketers don't build more than 4 levels deep. OUCH!

Traditionally you build a deep network by sponsoring as many people as possible and teaching your downline to do the same thing. Then you hope that as many people as possible stick with your business so you can make some money. This is a method of building wide THEN deep. The problem, is that most of your front line will drop out before they build any deep layers for you.

Then, there's a method of marketing that goes deep first, THEN wide. Imagine signing up as an independent consultant for a company, and the first day you notice that your sponsor has transferred the first person (person A) to your downline. Person A gets the same benefit as you, so another day or two later, person A has someone transferred to her downline. After a month, you have a line about 20 layers deep beneath you.

Then, you sign up one member of your own. Your very first referral. This member gets the same benefit as you did, so another vertical line begins building beneath them. Another month later you have one downline that is 40 people deep (person A's line will continue to grow forever), and another line that is 20 people deep.

Now imagine that you sponsor 100 people, and they all get deep lines. Then the active ones will build addition deep lines for you. At this point, who cares if 97% of people drop out, you'll still have a huge downline to work with!

People who do this method of marketing are much more successful than in traditional network marketing because they have so much help building and sustaining their team.

To find out more, visit Mick Rush or Teresa Hudson's personal pages.

In Times Like These, We Could All Appreciate a Dollar

It all started with gas prices going up. Next, the grocers had to start paying more to get their shipments so the cost of food went up too. Then, since gas and food went up in price, so did everything else, just to keep up. Now everything is more expensive than we're used to, and every way to save a buck or two is useful.

For those of you that shop online, or have ever thought about shopping online, you might consider becoming a member of ClubShop.com. Thousands of people are part of ClubShop, so the stores inside of ClubShop can give members discounts.

The discount: The discount will vary from store to store. You can see what the savings are underneath each store.

About Stores: There are hundreds of brand name stores in the mall. Target, Home Depot, Bloomingdales, Zales. . . You can buy everything from toilet paper to diamonds.

Joining: Joining ClubShop is totally free. All you have to do is sign up and shop through the mall to get the reward.

One more thing: In some places, offline stores also accept ClubShop cards. Log in to your account and check if your local stores are ClubShop friendly.

I hope this helps you to save money. I know it has helped me. I have converted much of my shopping online and it saves me tons, especially when I find stores that have free shipping!
